We are now open.

After a lot of hard work, we have got most of what we wanted in place,
 and have opened for trade.
The early start is a bit of a shock to us, we open at 8-00a.m. and stay until 5-00p.m..  We are offering people tastes of different products which we stock, so that they be sure of the high quality before they buy them.  At the moment, we have been letting people taste the different types of potted meat which we sell, and the baking.

Our potted meats are made for us by Halls Home Produce, a local firm to Sheffield.  The baking is by Curtis of Lincoln, who have been in business for 200 years.

We are in the market.

After a longer wait than we had planned, things are moving.  On Thursday we moved in to Open Stall 7 at the Castle Market in Sheffield.
We had to get the electricity account sorted out, and then we needed to get the floor cleaned so that it would be fit to use as a food store.  Next we put up some notices so that people would have a clue what we are selling.
Next, we had to hire a van to bring the shelves and building materials to the stall.  This means that we could start building the display shelves and storage shelves.
Then we could put up the sign which had been sign-written earlier.
Now it begins to look more like a stall where something will be sold!  We are hoping to open for trade on Thursday ( May 23rd) and have ordered stock ready for this.
The foods which we are selling will all be described by at least one of : Traditional, Local, Artisan or Fairly Traded.
