We are on the move. Sorry for the lack of recent posts, but we are busy preparing for the move to stall MF12, just across the aisle. This will happen soon, and will mean that we have more space to display our products, and eventually be able to carry even more different items.

New Year, New Products

For the new year, we have acquired stocks of a different Blue Stilton. Made by Websters of Saxilby, it is subtly different from the usual Blue Stilton from Hartington Creamery. Priced at £1-25 per 100g grammes, it is very popular, and stocks are limited.

Another new product is Cantal Jeune. A protected designation of origin cheese from the Auverne region of France. Stocks are limited, and we are not sure when we can get any more.

What we are:

S & J's Pantry is now closed, it was owned and run by Su. & Jon. Youdan. We sold a range of Traditional, Local, Artisan and Fairly Traded produce. We believe that food should be well made, and tasty, and tried to bring these foods to a wider audience.

Our stock included: locally made jams and chutneys; traditional soft drinks, both cordials and ready to drink; Fairly traded drinks; sweets and produce from round the world; Organic flours; Gluten-Free flours; Sheffield-made chilli sauces; A wide variety of cheeses, usually over 8o in stock; Birdhouse Teas, blended in Sheffield; Longley Farm Dairy produce; Potters of Barnsley meat pies; varieties of honey; several nut butters; Dairy-free alternatives to cheese; Fresh Yeast.
