Retro Night.

Recently there was a Retro Night in the market.  Alongside our usual stall we also had a stall near to the band, promoting part of our range.  Details of the next event will be posted as soon as they are available.

We are happy to announce the arrival of a new product.  Made by Sheffield Cheese Masters in Sheffield using Sheffield milk.

Back in action.

Following an assortment of technical and family health issues we are now back on line.  The shop has always been open, but admin has been more erratic.

A ewes' cheese from Yorkshire.  New to us, we hope you will like it.  More new ranges on the way.

Weddings and Celebrations

 Many people are using cheese as a part of their celebrations.  We are happy to supply cheese to make "Cakes" (above) or Towers (below).

Please call in at the stall to discuss your requirements and reserve your favourite cheeses for that special day.  

Please note that we do not supply the "dressing" for the cake or tower, just the cheese, however, we are happy to advise you on how to go about the decoration.

New lines from Mr Fitzpatrick's and Drivers

 A new range of pickles from Drivers of Leicester.  We have stocked many of their products for a number of years, but these use their years of experience to bring a new twist to some old favourites.

The Pickle Mix, Free Range Eggs in spiced vinegar, Sweet Cornichons in white Balsamic Vinegar,1906 Pickled Onions, Red Cabbage with Apple and Mini Onions in Honey and Balsamic Vinegar

 Real Ale Chutney, Spicy Mango chutney, Christmas Pickle, Chunky Piccalilli and Traditional Farmhouse Pickle complete the range.

Mr Fitzpatrick's has also been busy.

Modern tastes have become increasingly concerned about the amount of processed sugar in people's diet.

To complement their existing range of 17 flavours of cordials they have introduced a range of nine cordials with no added sugar.

Four of these are new flavours:  Raspberry and Lavender, Rhubarb and Rose, Clementine Oranges with Bergamot and Lemon cucumber and Mint; whilst there are five versions of already existing flavours but without the added sugar: Dandelion and Burdock, English Elderflower and Bramley Apple, Gooseberry and Elderflower, Sour Cherry Red Grape and Hibiscus and Cranberry and Pomegranate.  All are in stock now.

Little Mester

Little Mester is a soft, creamy, mould ripened cheese made in the heart of Sheffield.
Using Sheffield Milk, this truly is a Taste of Sheffield.

Barnsley Cheese

Made at Ben Bank Farm in Dodworth, this is the latest addition to our local range.  Lovely creamy brie, and tangy blue, both sell out fast.  We can't guarantee stock availability because demand is high.
